How Do You Feel About Your Name, Pamela?
“I like that no one names their kid Pamela anymore,” says 36-year-old Pamela from Colorado.
Pamela’s name was derived from the Greek words pan, “all,” and meli, “honey.” It was one of the top 20 baby names in the U.S. from 1950 through 1968, but since then has declined in popularity. In 2006, the name ranked 530th.
