Play Boggle, Find a Baby Name?
Then I actually tried it. It didn’t work so well.
For instance, the only names I’m seeing in that picture to the right are Clio (the name of the Greek muse of history) and Coen (which was the 963rd most popular name for boys last year).
If I ignore the whole “adjacent cubes” rule, though, I can come up with Noel, Leon, Leo, Elise, Elsie, Goldie, Theo, Colton, Gideon… and probably more, if I try a little harder. :)
So, I think a modified version of the game could be useful as a brainstorming tool, but the original version probably wouldn’t be.
[P.S. - I tried playing "Name Boggle" on my QWERTY keyboard, and the only names I found were Drew, Fred, Tre, Ty and Wes. Did I miss any?]
