• Aeriwentha Faggs Starr (1932-2000) – American athlete (commonly known as Mae).
• Batman bin Suparman (b. 1990) – Singaporean man of Javanese descent whose ID card was posted at Language Log. (Thanks to Nancy Friedman of Fritinancy for this!)
• Canvass White Biography (1790-1834) – American civil engineer.
• Delloreese Patricia Early (b. 1931) – American actress (stage name Della Reese).
• Hoagland Howard Carmichael (1899-1981) – American composer, singer, actor, and band leader (commonly known as Hoagy). Named after a circus troupe called “The Hoaglands.”
• Idawalley Zorada Lewis (1842-1911) – American lighthouse keeper (commonly known as Ida).
