Actor Ingo Rademacher and his fiancée welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on July 11th.
They named their son Peanut Kai.
Why Peanut? Ingo says:
We were calling him that when he was in mommy. It kind of represented joy and happiness to us. It puts a smile on everyone’s face.
Kai is the Hawaiian word for “sea” (…the baby is one-quarter Hawaiian).

Terrible name. Cute as a *nickname* for a baby, but as a given name? What were they thinking (or were they)?
My son and family were just here for a visit. He calls his 1 year old son “Buggie”, “Bug-a-boo” and other “bug” nonsense words.Very cute for a very cute little guy. But of course, my grandson has a fine given name — Alexander.
