Ánh Quang “Joseph” Cao was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in Louisiana’s 2nd Congressional District yesterday.

When he takes office in January, he will become the first Vietnamese-American to serve in Congress.

P.S. Before becoming governor, Piyush Jindal had held the same seat in Louisiana’s 1st District.
