A reader named Dacia needs a few name suggestions:
My husband and I have decided on Norah for a middle name (his grandmother’s name), but are having trouble coming up with a first name.
Both Norah and the baby’s surname, which starts with an F, are trochaic (stressed-unstressed)…so I made sure to throw in some names of other rhythms, for variation. Here’s what I came up with:

All name options I think of sound better with Norah as the first name. Norah Grace Fuster. Norah Penelope Felder. Norah Anne Fillips. Norah Celeste Franklin. Norah Miriam Flitter.
Nothing really sounds good with Norah in the middle unless the first name is Ella, giving her effectively one name (and Ella Norah as two names sounds really silly anyway).
What about Lily?
I do like the sound of Norah Bella and Norah Celeste.

By the way, my name is Dacia, too. I hate it…but it’s nice to see it out and about once in a while. Someday I hope to go to Romania and stay at the Hotel Dacia, drive a Dacia Logan car, and visit the Dacian museum. We were quite the cool people. :)
