  1. Adelaide and Benji are EASILY my favorites on her list!

    Other ideas:

    Alice
    Chloe
    Daphne
    Indira
    Indra
    Lorelei
    Matilda
    Nerida
    Penelope (Penny? Poppy?)
    Rayna/Raina
    Victoria

    Errol
    Grover
    Hugo
    Joaquin
    Lysander
    Rodrigo
    Sidney/Sydney
    Trent

  2. Angela, great minds think alike, Adelaide and Benjamin would be my first choice as well. And I also thought Sidney, Nerida and Victoria would fit Sarah’s taste.

    Acacia
    Coral
    Dorothea
    Ianthe
    Lucinda
    Natasha
    Saffron
    Vita

    Darwin
    Desmond
    Ivo
    Lawson
    Linus
    Oscar

  3. Before I got to Nancy’s asterik, I thought, ‘ these names must be from Australia’. I have an Australian SIL, have been “downunder” twice, and love the country. But I personally don’t care for many of the new Aussie names. Of your list, Sarah, I like Adelaide and Benjamin (“Benji”). I think these names are timeless, while some of the others you’re considering may turn out to be faddish and ‘date stamped’ 2009. How about one of those names as the middle name — maybe Adelaide India or Benjamin Porter?

  4. I’m a little blown away – I have two children, their names are Caspian and Zinnia. In boredom I googled their names together and found this post. These are NOT common names, and to see them suggested together is just so weird!
