Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio and his wife welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on August 1.
Their son’s name is Luka Bodhi.
I like the name, though I think “Luka Colicchio” (LOO-ka ko-LEE-kee-o, roughly) could be a tongue twister for some. What do you think?

Colicchio is pronounced Ko-lick-e-o.
Yup, I’ve heard it that way too. Especially on TV.
But I’m pretty sure the Italian “I” sounds like a long “E” most of the time. (Probably all of the time.)
For instance, the vegetable radicchio is pronounced ra-DEE-kee-o.
