Want to Name a Baby Orangutan?

A female Sumatran orangutan was born at the Philadelphia Zoo in early October to parents Tua and Sugi. The baby now needs a name. Here are the three choices:

  • Anoano, meaning “blessing”
  • Batu, meaning “stone” (also an archipelago near Sumatra)
  • Kadoa, meaning “small gift”

You can vote for your favorite from now until November 26.
