- Fabiana Bravo, opera singer from Argentina.
- Fritz Zwicky (1898-1974), astronomer from Switzerland who later moved to the U.S.
- Gillespie Montgomery (1920-2006), politician from Mississippi.
- St. Gonzaga Gonza (died in 1886), martyr from Uganda.
- Isadora Duncan (1877-1927), dancer from California.
- Tranquilino Luna (1849-1892), politician from New Mexico.
- Wynkyn de Worde (died in 1534), printer from France who later moved to England. (Worde refers to a location in France, not to words on the page, but it’s a great name anyway.)
