For the second time in history, an American astronaut has welcomed a baby while in orbit. The wife of astronaut Randolph Bresnik gave birth to a baby girl named Abigail Mae last night.
The first NASA astronaut to welcome a child while in orbit was Mike Fincke. In June of 2004, his wife gave birth to baby girl Tarali Paulina, whose name is based on the Indian name Tara (meaning star). Tarali has an older brother named Chandra (moon) and a younger brother named Surya (sun).

My name is Jasmine Strassner me and my husband P.J. want to name our baby is a girl name we want to name her Hannah Jane Strassner and we love it because she was name after my cousin and after my teacher back while I was in high school I am 23 years old P.J. and I have been married for 2 years and we are so happy to have this little girl inside of me. And we would like to name her thank you and have a great day. P.S. I am due December 18 2009 before Christmas.
