On September 2, 2008, Leslie Russell had a baby girl at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Here’s the catch: She wasn’t inside the Center. Instead, she was in the parking lot — specifically, in the front passenger seat of a Toyota Camry. (Luckily, a pediatrician who happened to be walking by assisted with the birth.)
What did she name the baby? Claire Camryn — middle name in honor of the Camry. Russell said:
If she’s upset with me later, I’ll tell her she’s lucky she wasn’t born in a Daewoo!

Camryn is in such common usage these days, I would think that she wouldn’t have to ever explain it beyond, “my mom liked it.”
