I don’t have all the information yet, but I just noticed that Ruby was the most popular baby girl name in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia last year. These are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th largest Australian states in terms of population.

In the most populous state, New South Wales, Ruby ranked 4th.
