In 2009, five U.S. baby girls were named Kexin.
Nope, it’s not some newfangled, feminized form of Kevin. Kexin is the first name of Chinese gymnast He Kexin, who won two gold medals at the Beijing 2008 Olympics (even though she may have been too young to compete at the time).
According to one gymnastics site, her name is pronounced kuh-SHEEN.
