No one knows where Casey Anthony is right now (beyond “out of jail”). One thing we do know, though, is that the petite, 25-year-old white woman hasn’t morphed into a heavyset, 43-year-old African-American man.
But that fact hasn’t stopped hundreds of Facebook users from harassing a heavyset, 43-year-old African-American man named Casey Anthony with messages and phone calls (his phone number was in his profile). Mr. Anthony even received a death threat.
Contrast this with the case of Kelly Hildebrandt and Kelly Hildebrandt, the couple that met after girl-Kelly searched on Facebook for people who shared her full name. They later married.
Having the same exact name as someone else — sometimes it gets you death threats, other times it gets you a soul mate. The benefits/drawbacks really run the gamut, don’t they?
