In January of 1947, a baby boy was born aboard an Aaxico flight en route to San Juan from New York.
His mom, Mrs. Rita Vega of Puerto Rico, decided to name him after the airline: Aaxico (an acronym for American Air Export and Import Company).
The airline gave baby Aaxico a lifetime free pass. Too bad it only operated as an airline until the 1960s, though.
Nowadays, Aaxico is an aviation support company.
