UK Baby Named Union Jack

A baby born in England on June 6 — just after the Jubilee celebrations — was named Union Jack after the flag of the UK.

The baby’s father, Kevin Smart, said: “I came up with the name Union and the middle name Jack. They were very fitting for the time of year.”

His mother, Becky Parker, said: “My immediate response was ‘no way’ but now I love it.”
