Name Spotting – Constant Agony

A man who lived in New York in the 1800s was named Constant Agony.

He was born in Canada East, moved to New York, and eventually became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

Here he is on the 1870 Census:

The other names in the family are Amelia, Mary, Marceline, Constance, Julia, Selina, Lezime, Paul and John. A second John, 2 years old, was listed on the next page.
