According to the government of Alberta, the most popular baby names in the province in 2017 were Olivia and Noah.

  1. Those unique names…uh, very, er…unique! I can almost 100% bet they will never have anyone else have their name. Or any touristy stuff either LOL-I say that because as a “CHRISTA”, I see Christine, Crystal, Christian, sometimes a Chrissy and that is what my little cousins all called me. But overall nothing has my name on. But I don’t have to keep whipping my head around like a Kim, Jennifer, Missy or Stacey do (did I just age myself).

  2. As tired as I am of every other little girl being named Olivia, Charlotte or Emma, I think many of those with very, very unique names will likely grow up envying them. Especially little Viris.
