Baby born on Trent Avenue, named Trent

In mid-1986, Karen Butler of Spokane, Washington, gave birth to a baby boy while her husband Vince was driving her to the hospital.

The baby boy arrived just as their Volkswagen was turning onto Trent Avenue.

So what did they name him? Daniel Trent Butler — middle name in honor of his unique birthplace.

Baby name story: Behrend

Nathan and Kathy Brewer didn’t make it to St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, in time for the birth of their son on December 31, 2010.

Instead, the baby boy was born in their Toyota Camry, which they’d hastily parked in the center median close to the campus of Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.

They considered naming the baby Cam for Camry and Otto for “auto” before settling on Asher Behrend Brewer.
