Nancy Friedman of Fritinancy just told me about a fascinating name she spotted in a recent NYT article:
The letters in his first name stand for “yes and no.” His last name, also the creation of hippie parents, is “maybe” spelled backward. It’s perhaps fitting, then, that Yan Ebyam came to be neck deep in the murky, quasi-legal world of Oakland’s marijuana-growing industry.
Yes and no, followed by maybe. Talk about an indecisive appellation.
And the article mentioned that 33-year-old cannabis farmer Yan Ebyam has a younger brother. Wonder what his name is. (Anyone know?)
