Heath and Deborah Campbell of Pennsylvania are upset that a ShopRite supermarket would not sell them a birthday cake with their 3-year-old son’s full name on it.
The name? Adolf Hilter Campbell.
The family did ultimately buy a (satisfactorily decorated) cake from a Wal-Mart, and the birthday party was held two days ago.
Heath said he chose the name Adolf Hitler for his son because he liked it and because “no one else in the world would have that name.”
The couple’s other children are named JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell.

Just another example of parents trying to get attention for themselves through the outlandish names they chose for their children. Sorry, but these parents sound like losers, and their poor children will most likely follow the racist example the parents are setting.
It sounds like Heath and Deborah from Pennsylvania were probably upset about a few things before the cake ever entered into it. Actually, someone over here in New Zealand tried to name their child Adolf Hitler as well but they were overruled by the registrar who has the power to block the use of names which might be considered offensive. It was mentioned in the media earlier this year as an adjunct to another story about bizarre baby names. You’re probably familiar with story of Talula?

I actually like the name Talulah, or however you’d like to spell it. But would probably only name a dog that. I hear that Bruce and Demi’s girl is legally shortening her Talulah to Lula.
As for AH and Arian Race, o0o0o0o0oh yes, those parents have some unresolved issues. Imagine how that child will feel when the WW is covered in civics class when he’s 10 or 12.
However, as wrong as the name is, I am sure that all of their children, unless someone smart finds a reason to call up DSS, will be brought up in the manner satisfactory to the parents and thus their names will be a sense of pride for them. That is until they are old enough to know better or figure it out for themselves.
There was an actor on the old soap opera Santa Barbara, he went by A Martinez, because he hated his given name of Adolf.
It’s really too bad that family doesn’t live in one of those countries that doesn’t let you just name your kid anything . Really.
why does it matter what some one names there children…. its not yours so why care?.. i get alot of BS cause my little girl is named after hitlers mother….thats shouldnt bother any one cause its my baby.

Quick update: According to Fox News, Heath and Deborah Campbell have lost custody of their kids. Not because of the names, though:
“The appeals court ruled Thursday that sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect existed because of domestic violence in the home.”

The most recent baby, Eva Lynn Patricia Braun, born in November, was named for Hitler’s mistress Eva Braun.
