On June 16, 1989, a pregnant woman on a stalled New York City subway train went into labor. One of the people who came to her assistance was Transit Authority foreman Joseph Caracciolo. He ended up serving as midwife.
After the baby boy was born, Joseph suggested that the woman “name the kid C Train.” Thankfully, she ignored his advice. She named the newborn Joseph instead.
