Ollie, Bobby, Caleb, Jenson, Dexter and Kayden replaced Ellis, Joe, Christopher, Ewan, Morgan and Austin in the boys’ top 100.
Annabelle, Eliza, Laila, Aisha, Maryam and Maisy replaced Lydia, Eve, Alisha, Francesca, Sara and Mya in the girls’ top 100.

I wonder if the Georg- names for the girls are on the rise too. Georgia, Georgina, Georgette.

The top two, Georgia and Georgina, are clearly losing steam. Georgiana, on the other hand, is making gains. (Though they’re so small they don’t matter much.) Georgie is harder to pin down — 149 babies in 2010 might be the start of an upswing, or might be a fluke.
