In early February, a baby boy named Iron Maiden Durán Ruiz was born in Bolivia to Iron Maiden super-fan César Durán Alpiri and his wife.
The baby’s father was particularly inspired by Iron Maiden’s gruesome, zombie-like mascot Eddie the Head.
Which prompts me to ask the obvious question: Why not just name the baby “Eddie”?
On the other hand, I kinda wish both parents had been able to contribute a “Durán” to the surname, because then you’d get Iron Maiden Durán Durán.
