Want to name someone else’s baby? Here’s your chance!

Lavonne Drummond of Arkansas is auctioning off the right to name her seventh child.

In an interview with FOX News, she mentions that her husband does not yet know their unborn son’s name is up for grabs on eBay.

Bidding started at $150. Right now, the high bid is $590. Drummond hopes the winning bid will be in the “20-25 thousound [sic]” range.

The baby won’t arrive until mid-September, but if you plan to place a bid, make it fast — the auction ends in about 4 days.

  1. A couple pieces of advice for this lady: one is that if she can’t afford the kids she has, she should stop making more. The other is to check her spelling before posting an ad on eBay that she hopes to make 25k off of.

  2. Lavonne will be on the Morning Jungle show to discuss the auction, the winning name, take phone calls and more THIS MONDAY AUGUST 10th at 9:00 a.m. eastern morningjungle.com

  3. It’s back! (I’ve updated the link in the post.)

The new listing mentions that eBay took issue with the original auction. Those issues are apparently now resolved.

As of right now, the high bid is about $511. The auction ends in a couple of days.
