Popular baby names in Puerto Rico, 2020

According to the Social Security Administration, the most popular baby names in Puerto Rico in 2020 were Valentina and Liam.

Here are Puerto Rico’s top 10 girl names and top 10 boy names of 2020:

Girl Names

3. Emma, 131

Boy Names

1. Liam, 215 baby boys
2. Sebastian, 209
3. Thiago, 185

10. Matias, 108

In the girls’ top 10, Catalina, Gianna and Kamila replaced Mikaela, Ainhoa and Amanda.

In the boys’ top 10, Jayden replaced Adrian.

In 2019, the top names in Puerto Rico were Valentina and Sebastian.

And the most popular baby names in all other U.S. territories — American Samoa, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands (combined) — in 2020 were Gianna/Hailey (tie) and Elijah.
