Actor Michael J. Fox and his wife, actress Tracy Pollan, married in 1988 and have four children: son Sam, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and daughter Esmé.

Aquinnah was named for the town of Aquinnah (a.k.a. Gay Head) on Martha’s Vineyard. The town name, pronounced ah-KWIN-ah, is a Wampanoag word meaning “land under the hill.” Tracy’s family has a summer home in Aquinnah and, according to one of Tracy’s Instagram posts, Aquinnah was “where it all began” for the couple.
