I am intrigued by Goncharov! That is currently an internet meme racing around Tumblr as the title of an imaginary 1973 gangster film, as a joke. It began in August 2020 but went viral in November 2022, according to wikipedia. And Goncharov is the name of the main character, a man.
Étoile-Soleil is a gorgeous name! If I had a simpler, less cumbersome last name, I would love it for a daughter.
@AnotherCelestialOne – It would be nuts if an internet meme was behind that one!
Truly! the internet says that Goncharov is a Russian surname that translates to “Potter”, like the occupation, so I suppose they could be referencing a family name. Intriguing mystery to be sure…
